2022 Anti-Human Trafficking Awareness Campaign


Kick-Off Press Conference & Modern-Day Abolitionist Award Ceremony

On January 11th we Joined media and community  for the 13th Annual Press Conference of SFCAHT where top government and law enforcement officials,  advocates and service providers, survivors and civic leaders announced their achievements and priorities in fighting human trafficking.

We kicked off the Anti-Human Trafficking Month and Annual Awareness Campaign. We also honored the 2022 recipients of the Modern-Day Abolitionist Award.

Featured speakers in the conference included:

On February 2, professionals and activists joined for a discussion focused on the transnational nature of human trafficking. The program featured presentations by federal law enforcement agencies and consular offices based in the United States. We learned about the global collaboration against human trafficking and how other nations fight this horrific crime.

​At the closing of the 13th Annual Awareness Campaign of SFCAHT, we joined to honor the winners of the 2022 Teen Poster, Writing & Music Contest and learn about youth achievements in human trafficking prevention. Students from across the Bay Area will gather to perform and share experiences in anti-trafficking advocacy. Attendees learned how to join the movement locally and help create awareness of human trafficking in their own schools and communities
