Modern Day Abolitionist Award
The Modern Day Abolitionist Award is presented annually to individuals who are active in the fight to end modern day slavery through human trafficking prevention, prosecution, and protection of victims, and have demonstrated a commitment to creating a local and global community that values human life and abhors practices that deny a person’s right to live a life free from violence, exploitation, or slavery.

On January 11th we Joined media and community for the 13th Annual Press Conference of SFCAHT where top government and law enforcement officials, advocates and service providers, survivors and civic leaders announced their achievements and priorities in fighting human trafficking. We kicked off the Anti-Human Trafficking Month and Annual Awareness Campaign. We also honored the 2022 recipients of the Modern-Day Abolitionist Award.
